  • Standard Consultation
  • This is a standard dance consult and will involve a detailed discussion on what is currently limiting you, injury history, training routine and goals. This is followed by a thorough physical examination, discussion of findings and working together on a plan to meet your goals. Follow up sessions may be recommended and can be 1h or 1/2h. This type of session is also recommended for clients seeking help managing hypermobility syndromes.
  • Short Consultation

  • Not sure if I can help with your problem or have something very simple? This might be for you! Keep in mind that 1/2h goes quickly, and if the problem turn out to be more complex, I may ask that your follow up be 1h.
  • Pre-pointe assessments
  • 1h session
  • This session is dedicated to checking requirements for progressing en pointe and ironing out any issues that may cause problems long term. It is recommended this is done at least 3-6 months before planning to go en pointe to allow plenty of prep time. This is the most important time to check basic technique, posture, range of motion and strength. Students and parents should expect a home exercise program and at LEAST one follow up session. It is normal to have 3+ sessions over a period of a few months. This ensures safety and greater ease of transition to pointe shoe work. A pre-pointe assessment is also useful before transitioning to a full time program or when returning en pointe after injury. The session will include a copy of the assessment for the dancer/parent and a report sent to the teacher.
